UNILAG Shut Down Indefinitely Following Students Protest


The management of the University of Lagos has Shut Down the institution following protests by students yesterday.

It was learnt that the senate took the decision to shut down the school during an emergency meeting on Thursday.

In a circular, the management said this move is to prevent a break down of Law and order adding that the challenges faced by the students are connected with the lingering fuel scarcity in the country and was put into consideration before coming to this decision.

Students were given till 10am today to vacate the school premises.
