UNICAL To Produce 22 First Class Degrees At Its 30th Convocation Ceremony

The Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu amid a pre-convocation ceremony unveiled that an aggregate of 22 students would bag First Class degrees amid the 30th convocation ceremony of the University on Saturday.

He said that 13,347 students, involving 11,910 undergraduates and 1,437 postgraduates, would graduate at the service.

Akpagu said the University would likewise present honorary degrees on three prominent Nigerians for their commitment to the financial improvement of the nation.

"These are Alhaji Umaru Kwabo, Sir Daniel Chukwudozie and Brig-Gen. Anthony Ukpo (rtd).'' He said.
