University of Lugano 2017 Scholarships, Switzerland

College of Lugano is putting forth scholarshipss for international students. These scholarships are offered for those studentss who seek to pursue their further education at the University of Lugano in Switzerland. Faculties of the Università della Svizzera italiana will award an aggregate of 60 grant of the amount of CHF 4’000 each.

Field of Study/Subjects
Scholarships are offered within the faculties of:
  • Economics
  • Communication Sciences
  • Informatics
  • Arts in Italian language
  • Literature and culture
  • Architecture
Number of Scholarships
Total of 60 scholarships are offered for master students
  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at a Swiss university
  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at an Italian university
  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at a university from other countries
Duration of Scholarship

One academic year (2 semesters) for master study

Scholarship Description/Details

Tuition fees for the Master's degrees add up to CHF 4,000 for each semester

Qualification Criteria

So as to be qualified for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

Must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative grade point of at least 80/100
    Must have been admitted to the first year of a USI Master

    Certified translation of documents originally printed in languages other than Italian, German, French, English or Spanish
